Friday Letters

Photobucket

Dear Friday, Happy you’re here, thankful but most importantly relieved. Usually I stay away from anything tech on the weekends, but not this one.

Dear Summer, You’ve been good, first summer sunset, wonderful sushi dinner date at Hermosa Beach on the first day of your presence, sharing popsicles with the fur babes. You’re only getting better!

Dear Beach, I can’t wait to see more of you this summer.

Happy weekend everyone!

Friday Letters

Photobucket

Dear Carsland, Last Friday was Ahhhmazing! My take on the new ride is...

I'm so thankful I was one of the few to ride Cars before it opened TODAY!! I was even more happy I got to ride on Lightning McQueen. I only got to ride once but that was enough, I'm stoked your a part of Southern California. I didn't like how I wasn't "allowed" to take pictures. It's ok though I still snuck a few. What can I say, I'm some kind of character.
.

~Not sure what HER problem was but she didn't have to get ON with us.
You Picture killah, whoever you are lady!

Dear Disneyland, I didn't like your Star Tours 80 min wait but that's ok it's only a great reason to go back and visit again. I totally get your Disneyland but is it necessary to charge 80$ for a Ewok backpack, it shattered my heart & made me want to add straps to my pug and call it a day.{I kid, I kid}I fancy the firework show, it's super cute how Tinkerbell open the show flying over the castle, I really enjoyed eating popcorn out of my R2D2, funny story while popcorn was being bought, I got a small R2D2 chocolate mousse just because I REALLY wanted a star tours souvenir, little did I know I would be getting two one small one BIG. Yippy! I'm seriously a child at heart. TEACUPS are my absolute favorite so please never get rid of them. I'm also happy I got to walk out your park with the most adorable I love my dog magnet frame
with a bunch of the cutest Disney dogs.

{Teacup Love}

{Off with her Head!}

{60$ Ewok}

{Chocolate Mousse}

{I love my dog magnet frame}

Dear California Adventure, I'll be seeing you more often this summer, be ready! The margarita really helped with the edge. I must say I was a tad bit disappointed getting off The Little Mermaid ride such a cute kid friendly ride on a shell, but you deceived me when I seen your plans back in 2010. I thought I was gonna get on a boat total just kiss the girl status, on the upside I loved World of Color other than that one part, that Simba part could be left out ... but other than that I LOVED IT! I hadn't seen it before so it was the cherry on top to my visit. Overall Thanks for Last Friday
.P.S
It was fun acting like a tourist for a day at the happiest place on earth. I'll be seeing you again.
Your Awesome!
~Ana

It's mind expanding, Man.

Sunday Social

Week 1
Sunday Social

This is pretty neat, My first link-up. Last week I was really excited to start
FridayLetters, and again this week but with Cars Land this Friday I didn't really have any time & I'm also getting the hang of it all but I love reading those who do link up for Friday Letters. Since my page is still very fresh and I'm still learning how to get the hang of blogging, I came across this blog and I feel like Whitney over at EVERYTHING HAPPENS FOR A REASON has a point. I ran into this link-up for a reason on the first day too because today I was going to post about why I chose Zealous Dilettante as my name for my blog & so far I really like the first three sunday social link ups I've read. So here goes my try...

1. How did you come up with your blog name?

Zealous Dilettante

these two words describe what my blog will be about

*Zealous is an adjective & it means,

full of, characterized by, or due to zeal; ardently active, devoted,or diligent & I think it suited me well since I want to be devoted to this blog.

*Dilettante is a noun & it means,

One who takes up an activity or interest in a superficial or casual way. Superficial; amateurish. an admirer or lover of the arts & I think this is another word that suited me well since I'm an amateur and I have so many interests in the arts. I'm a strong believer of this and since this will be my personal blog I want to show you my Zealous modern Dilettante Life.

2. What is your favorite thing about blogging?

I'm still very new with the whole blogging world and on my down town I really enjoy reading others' blog but quickly link-ups have become my favorite thing.

3. What is one thing you have discovered because of blogging and now can't live without?

Hmmm, this one is kinda tricky because I just started blogging but I've discovered places I want to take trips to & food, Can't live without food.

4. Facebook or Twitter? And why?

Facebook, because I don't have a twitter and after a confrontation with a rap star which I'll get into it a little later, I just think I've got enough on my plate with Instagram and Pinterest as well.

5. If one celeb read your blog, who would you want it to be?

Another tricky one I am not really into Celebs I have this thing where I tell myself that they are just people, very popular people with a lot of money! Let's see though, I think Brooke Burke, I'd like to see more models like her, talk about being fit and getting the best advice on how to work for that hard rock body she has after how many children?..

6. What is something you want people to know about your blog?

I want people to know that I'm an amateur blogger & that this blog will be about my personal life where I'll come to express my feelings, share my excitement and I hope it doesn't take me long to get the hang of it all, I'm friendly and would love to get to know you SO send me an Email

Art Depot

Monday, I took a walk and discovered a hidden mini rose garden here in my very own town, like right down the street.

The Fontana Memorial Rose Garden

The Garden was planted in tribute to local legends, heroes and everyday people who touched the lives of Fontana residents.

This hidden Gem is located on Spring Street, the garden blooms each spring & right now I must admit that it's the best time to see them, they are at full bloom. The plaques beneath the roses are dedicated to family and friends..

If your familiar with the Edison Bike Trail here in Fontana, CA you could also take a bike ride, which is really nice.

The Art Depot

so Dilettante..
